1. Who we are
4Assets is a SaaS corporate asset management platform, made up of the web portal (app.4assets.com.br) and the 4Assets mobile app (ID br.com.assets4.app) for Android. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) Registration and account data - name, email, company, job title, and password (stored encrypted); (b) Operational data you enter - asset information, categories, locations, photos, and attached documents; (c) Location data - GPS coordinates when you record an asset's position; (d) Camera images - QR code scanning and asset photos; (e) Technical and usage data - device model, OS version, session identifiers, and access logs, used for security and service operation.
3. Mobile app permissions
The app requests the following permissions, always optional and only when the feature is used: Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) - to record an asset's geolocation during inspection or inventory; Camera - to scan QR codes and capture asset photos. Images and location are processed only upon your direct action, with no background capture. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. How we use your data
We use data to: authenticate access and keep your session secure; provide and operate asset management features; generate reports and inventories; respond to support requests; improve and protect the platform; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it to third parties.
5. Legal basis
We process personal data based on the performance of the service contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest in platform security and improvement, and consent where applicable (for example, for location and camera access).
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share it only with: infrastructure providers and processors that operate the service on our behalf (hosting, storage, and error monitoring), under confidentiality obligations; and public authorities when required by law.
7. Storage and security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted traffic via HTTPS/TLS, secure on-device storage of credentials and authentication tokens (secure storage), access control, and audit logs. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously work to mitigate risks.
8. Data retention
We keep your personal data while your account is active and for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes of this policy and legal obligations. After account closure, data is deleted or anonymized, except where mandatory retention is required by law.
9. Your rights
You may request at any time: confirmation of processing; access to data; correction; anonymization, blocking, or deletion; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacidade@4assets.com.br.
10. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing privacidade@4assets.com.br or through your account settings. We will fulfill the request within 15 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
11. Children
The platform is intended for professional and corporate use and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. International transfer
If data is stored or processed outside Brazil by our infrastructure providers, we adopt appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. The current version will always be available on this page, with the last updated date shown above. Significant changes will be communicated through official channels.
